In the list of the most popular first names of 2017, published by Alberta Tuesday, there is a mix of traditional names and rare pearls.
Blaze, Godspower and Nitorious-Shyne are among the first names of newborns whose parents have privileged the creative approach. Another family baptized their child with a single letter of the alphabet, the letter V, without addition.
On the girls’ side, the theme of nature is spreading among less traditional names, including Sky, Star and Sunshine.
